At the end of 2019, we conducted a poll to find out which handgun (released that year) our readers thought was the best for concealed carry.

The question was simple; Which handgun below is the BEST new offering of 2019?

The contenders were:

  • Beretta APX Carry
  • FN 509 Midsize
  • GLOCK 43X
  • GLOCK 45
  • GLOCK 48
  • Kimber EVO SP
  • Mossberg MC1sc
  • Sig Sauer P365
  • Sig Sauer P365 XL
  • Springfield Hellcat

With 27% of the votes, the Springfield Armory Hellcat took home the prize as the most-voted.

During SHOT Show 2020, we stopped by the Springfield booth to give them their award, which they displayed inside their Hellcat display.

That’s the Hellcat (above) that was put through the 10,000 round torture test. You can see that video below and how it held up below:

Congratulations to Springfield Armory on their win for the Hellcat!
